Nicholas Piche is a master electrician, a builder of businesses, and a visionary in the world of renewable energy. As the founder of True Beacon Solar, he leads with more than 15 years of electrical and infrastructure expertise, backed by a passion for giving families energy independence in an uncertain world.
Nicholas began his career in the trades at 18, working a full decade in the field before launching his own contracting company, Gorilla Voltage. What started as a pursuit of personal freedom and craftsmanship quickly evolved into something bigger. He saw how vulnerable the traditional grid had become, how rising costs, frequent outages, and outdated infrastructure were leaving people exposed.
That realization sparked the birth of True Beacon Solar, a solar and battery installation company based in Ottawa with one clear mission: empower people to control their own energy.
