- Initial Phone Call
5-10 min call with Ashley or Amber in the office - to determine if we are in the same budget and timeline ballpark and to schedule you with a Customer Success Manager.
2. 20-minute Discovery Call
Call with your primary point of contact moving forward. This call is about gathering the essential information about needs, preferences, scopes, and budgets. If both agree to move forward, we schedule your paid, on-site consultation.
3. On-site Consultation
Consultation with a designer and Master Electrician to guide your vision and ideas into a concrete design plan.
4. Design Plan and Estimate
Within a week of your onsite consultation, you will receive your detailed design plan and line-itemized estimate so there are no surprises later on.
5. Installation
With a paid deposit, we schedule your installation and clean up at the end of each day so you don't feel like youa are living in a work zone. Guranteed 30 day install after utility approvals.
6. Review and warranties
You'll walk your property and do a final review with our Crew Lead. We will collect final payment and provide you with your warranties.

The panels include a 25-year manufacturer’s warranty covering materials and workmanship, along with a 30-year linear power warranty that guarantees no more than 0.4% performance degradation per year. Inverters come with warranties ranging from 10 to 25 years depending on the model. We also back our installation with a 5-year labour and workmanship warranty to ensure long-term reliability.
There’s no regular maintenance required for your solar system. The system is designed to run reliably on its own. The only time service may be needed is if a component fails—most commonly, the inverter, which may need replacement after 10-15 years.
Net metering lets you send excess electricity your solar panels produce back to the grid. In return, you earn energy credits that offset the power you draw from the grid when your system isn’t producing—like at night or on cloudy days. It’s how your solar system keeps saving you money 24/7.
Load displacement means your solar panels power your home’s appliances and devices directly while the sun is shining—reducing your reliance on the grid in real time. However, with this setup, there’s no exporting of excess energy, so you won’t build credits for surplus solar. This system is ideal if you’re planning to install batteries, allowing you to store unused solar power and use it at night when electricity rates are highest.
A home battery is essential if you want to keep your lights on during a power outage—it provides seamless backup for your most important loads. Beyond backup, it also helps you save more every day through peak shaving: by using stored battery power during high-rate periods (typically between 5–7 PM), you reduce your reliance on expensive grid electricity and maximize your solar savings.
The biggest savings go to the highest power users—typically those spending $200 or more per month on electricity. While most utility bills include a fixed connection fee ($40–$60/month) that solar can’t eliminate, the rest of your bill can be drastically reduced. Over the 25–30 year lifespan of your system, it’s common to save $50,000 or more in avoided electricity costs.
From the time you sign your contract to full system commissioning, the process typically takes 6–10 weeks. The actual installation on your home usually takes 3–4 days, while the rest of the timeline involves permitting, paperwork, and approval wait times from utilities and government programs.
Currently, homeowners can take advantage of two major incentives. The Canada Greener Homes Loan offers up to $40,000 at 0% interest over 10 years, available for both net metering and load displacement systems. In Ontario, there's also a rebate of up to $5,000 for a solar system and an additional $5,000 for a battery system—however, this provincial rebate is only available for load displacement systems, not net metering. The 30% Investment Tax Credit (ITC) allows businesses to claim back 30% of their solar system’s capital cost against their federal tax liability in the following year. In Ontario, Save on Energy offers an additional $860/kW AC rebate for load displacement systems, which typically covers 25–35% of the project cost.
